Rice-Planting in the Spring 2005
　２００５年５月１４日に開かれた田植えの様子です。

続々と集まってきました。

オープニングセレモニー（教育長のあいさつ）
The Ogawa Board of Education Superintendent greets everyone at the Opening Ceremony.

The mud is cold!
Are there any bugs? Or snakes?
中には慣れた手付きの人もいます。
Some are experienced rice-planting, so the planting is well done.
まだまだ道のりは遠い！？
Is there much more left to do?
今年も増子さんの「田植え唄」が聞けました。
Every year, Mashiko san sings the traditional rice-planting song.
昼食のメインは今年も「流しそうめん」
"Nagashi-Somen" (flour noodles sliding down a bamboo slide) is the main dish this year too.
バンブースライダー？の脇のテーブルには
たくさんの料理が並びます。
What a feast!
「舟戸元気かい」のみなさん！
毎回たくさんの人にお手伝いをいただいています。
The "Hunado-Genkikai" Girls Volunteer Group members.
So many people helped organize the event.
こちらは「芳井夢の会」のみなさんです。

yassanからおみやげに「コシヒカリ」がプレゼント！
袋には今日撮り立ての写真シールが貼られていました。
"Koshihikari" (rice), is given to everyone as a souvenir present from Yassan.
The label on the rice package has pictures of this year's rice-planting.
